Fathers Network Scotland (FNS) is an independent Scottish charity. Its mission is to drive positive cultural change by inspiring organisations to engage, support and empower men to become the best fathers they can be. The FNS vision is of a safe and compassionate Scotland where all children, their families and communities are enriched and strengthened through the full and welcome involvement of their fathers. Funded by Scottish Government, it is also the main organiser of Year of the Dad 2016.
Parenting across Scotland (PAS) is a partnership of charities working together to provide a focus for issues and concerns affecting parents and families in Scotland. The PAS partners are Aberlour Childcare Trust; Capability Scotland; CHILDREN 1st; Children in Scotland; Families Outside; One Parent Families Scotland; Relationships Scotland; Scottish Adoption; and The Spark. Together the partners work with thousands of parents.

The charity supports and gives a voice to working parents and carers, whilst also helping employers create workplaces which encourage work-life balance for everyone. The Working Families helpline for parents, carers and their advisers gives advice on employment rights and benefits.
The Scottish Government is committed to promoting family friendly and flexible working across both public and private sector employers. The Scottish Government fund and play an active role in the Family Friendly Working Scotland Partnership - more than doubling funding for the Partnership for 2015/16.
